Hosted by an expert Alaska-based tour guide, this journey offers firsthand access to the landscapes, wildlife, and cultures of the Last Frontier through a carefully designed mix of outdoor and cultural experiences. Enjoy time to hike near glaciers, browse Native art, or relax with a craft Alaskan brew while we handle the logistics.

We provide upscale lodging, gourmet meals, and travel by road, sea, and air. Our route follows the Lynn Canal, the northern reach of the Inside Passage, with ferry travel past waterfalls, sea lions, and dramatic coastal peaks. From Haines we travel north along the Haines Highway and Alaska Highway into the Yukon before returning south to Skagway and finally back to Juneau by seaplane.

Day 1: Arrival in Juneau
Upon arrival in Juneau, Alaska’s coastal capital, your guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Once settled, enjoy free time to explore downtown Juneau, stroll the waterfront, or relax before the adventure begins.

Day 2: Juneau to Haines – Whale Watching & Fjordland Catamaran
Begin the day with a guided whale watching excursion in the waters surrounding Juneau, where humpback whales, sea lions, porpoises, and bald eagles are often seen. In the afternoon we board the Fjordland catamaran and travel up the Lynn Canal to Haines, passing waterfalls and coastal mountains.

Day 3: Haines – Chilkat River Float & Chilkoot Lake Canoe
Today we explore the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve with a scenic float trip on the Chilkat River. Later, enjoy a wildlife safari canoe trip on Chilkoot Lake beneath towering peaks in one of Southeast Alaska’s most pristine settings.

Day 4: Haines to Whitehorse – Scenic Drive & Cultural Discovery
Travel north along the Haines Highway into Canada on one of the most scenic drives in North America. Highlights include Million Dollar Falls, Kathleen Lake, and a visit to the Da Ku Cultural Center in Haines Junction before continuing to Whitehorse.

Day 5: Yukon Highlights – Emerald Lake, Carcross & White Pass
Explore the southern Yukon including Emerald Lake, the Carcross Desert, Lake Bennett, and the Yukon Suspension Bridge. We travel through historic Carcross and cross White Pass en route to Skagway.

Day 6: Skagway – White Pass Railway & Taiya River Float
Ride the historic White Pass & Yukon Route Railway through dramatic mountain terrain. Later enjoy a scenic float trip on the Taiya River and explore Skagway’s historic district.

Day 7: Return to Juneau – Scenic Seaplane Flight
Your journey concludes with a spectacular scenic seaplane flight back to Juneau with unforgettable aerial views of glaciers, fjords, and coastal mountains.
