Please read these booking terms and conditions carefully. By paying a deposit, it is understood that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions.

We utilize an online document signing service, Insuresign, for the majority of our paperwork. This is free to you and helps ensure all documents are easily completed and sent to us with the least amount of work on your end. When you place your deposit for the trip you will receive an automated packet with the necessary registration forms for your trip.

You may also opt to open the pdf versions of our registration materials linked below and complete them through Adobe or hand-fill out the forms. If you have any questions or issues with the registration materials, please reach out to us!

To make a booking, contact our reservations department via email to info@alaskayukondiscoverytours.com or call 1-800-766-3396. A credit card authorization secure link will be provided. Upon receipt, your booking will be processed, and a deposit will be applied.

We will send you the following documents for you to complete.
• Registration Form
• Waiver.

All registration materials must be returned 45 days prior to the trip departure date.

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required at time of confirmation of booking. Full payment is due 90 days prior to departure.

Prices: All prices quoted are shown in US ($USD) funds. All rates are subject to tax increases

Full Payment: Full payment is required no later than 90 days prior to departure. Bookings made within 90 days of departure will require a credit card on file and full payment will be applied upon final confirmation.
If this booking is confirmed, and subsequently canceled, guests shall be subject to standard cancellation policies.

Payment: We accept personal checks, cashier’s checks, money orders, wire transfers and most major credit cards. If you would like to use a wire transfer, please contact us for details.

Cancellations: Cancellations requests need to be sent 90 days prior to the vacations start date. In the event that you are unable to join us the following guidelines will apply. Full Refunds, less deposit, will be provided:
• Before 90 days prior to vacation date: 100%
• 60-89 days prior to trip date: 50% refunds will be provided. The 50% retained by Alaska Yukon Discovery Tours can be credited towards another vacation if used within 12 months.
• 59 days up to and including departure date: No refunds will be provided.

Cancellation Policy Update:
The ongoing spread of COVID-19 may be impacting your travel plans and we would like to help.
In response, we have adjusted our cancellation policies to cover COVID-19-related cancellations and to support our community, so travelers can book with confidence.
Cancellations requests need to be sent 90 days prior to the vacations start date. In the event that you are unable to join us the following guidelines will apply. Full Refunds, less deposit, will be provided:
• Before 30 days prior to vacation date: 100%
• 29 days up to and including departure date: No refunds will be provided.

If you have not paid in full 90 days prior to your vacation departure, and you have not contacted us regarding other payment options, we reserve the right to book another individual in your place. In this event, you are responsible for any associated costs.

We will acknowledge all cancellation requests with a cancellation notice; should you NOT receive this note then cancellation has NOT been received by Alaska Yukon Discovery Tours and must be resent. Notification of cancellation is based on the working week in the US and must be received in writing.

If for any reason, Alaska Yukon Discovery Tours has to cancel your vacation, all deposits and trip payments will be refunded in full or are fully transferable to another vacation. Alaska Yukon Discovery Tours will not be responsible for any costs associated with cancellations including, but not limited to: flight cancellation fees, flight change fees, and/or associated lodging and meal fees. Alaska is a land of many extremes and travel insurance is highly recommended.

Change Fee: Date or name changes to existing reservations following full payment is considered a cancellation and rebooking. A fee of $50 per person plus any supplier fees and price increases will be charged for all other changes.

Liability Waiver: All participants are required to sign our liability release form. Please take time to read this form and make yourself familiar with it before signing.

Unused Services: Refunds are not available for unused prepaid excursions or transfers when voluntarily canceled.

Weather delays and associated considerations: In the event that your trip is unable to depart at the scheduled time, individuals are responsible for any associated costs including food and lodging. Furthermore, weather or other challenges may make it difficult to cover all trip itinerary specific. In the event that a trip is delayed or changed, AYDT is not responsible for any delays or changes in the itinerary.

Medical, Travel, & Cancellation Insurance: Individuals are responsible for any medical costs, including all associated rescue, evacuation, and transportation costs. Please take time to review your medical insurance policy. Make certain that your coverage extends to the location of your trip, and that it provides coverage for any potential associated costs, including rescue and evacuation. Many policies will provide coverage for travel abroad for a small additional fee. We highly recommend Travel Guard trip insurance through AIG.

Privacy Policy when submitting information and/or payment online:

Information We Collect: We recognize your right to confidentiality and are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information that we collect on our websites to provide you with a superior customer service experience and to communicate with you about products, services, and promotions. Your privacy is very important to us. Be assured that we do not sell or distribute our customer list to third parties.

Security: When you place a deposit/payment online, your personal information and a credit card or debit card information are encrypted using SSL encryption technology before being sent over the Internet. We use SSL technology to prevent your information from being stolen or intercepted while being transferred to us and once we have received it. Your credit card information is always stored in encrypted form in a restricted-access database that is away from our Web site database so it is not connected to the Internet, to keep it safe from hackers. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
